Brow Lifts

If you are troubled by heavy, drooping brows, you may want to consider a brow lift.

Your Individual Goals

During your consultation with Dr. Moses, you will discuss your goals. Forehead lifts (brow lifts) can be combined with other facial procedures, such as facelifts, rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) or blepharoplasty (eyelid lifts). Together, the two of you will decide which procedures you want in order to achieve your desired results.

About Brow Lifts

For your safety and comfort, your forehead lift will be performed while you are under general anesthesia, typically as an out patient. Brow lift surgery typically takes 1 to 1½ hours. He will either use the classic “open” method, or the endoscopic method, to lift your brows. Endoscopic procedures use two or three small incisions within the hair; open procedures leave a scar within the scalp or at the hairline, depending on your facial anatomy and your hairline.

Recovery from Brow Lift

After your brow lift, Dr. Moses will wrap your forehead overnight to minimize bruising or swelling. He may place a thin tube to drain any excess blood or fluid that may collect under the skin, which he will remove the next day. You will be bruised for a week or two. There is very little pain.

Forehead Lift Results

Dr. Moses is a board certified plastic surgeon. He knows the importance of feeling confident in your appearance. A sagging forehead with sleepy, drooping brows make you look tired and old and can interfere with your vision. For a long time, the results of your brow lift will keep you looking younger than if you had never undergone the surgery.
